Buffah Farms is a subsidiary of Buffah Contracts Company Ltd, which was incorporated in 2006 and is fully registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission. The farm was established to address the increased need for food and the lack of mechanised farming in Akansoko, Cross River State. Since then, Buffah Farms has expanded to Ibiae, Oban, Ikot Edem Ndarake, Calabar and Lagos.
Before the privatisation of several Cross River State government Oil Palm Estates, Buffah Farms managed them. Presently, we own an oil palm estate that spans over 1000 hectares.
Our Lagos poultry farm produces about 10,500 broilers every 6-8 weeks, and our Calabar poultry farm holds 10,000-layer chickens. We can also supply 400-600 crates of eggs at short notice from any of our poultry farm locations.
We have a pig farm in Ikot Edem Ndareke from which we supply pork. We also have catfish, snails, and fish in Oban. Our corn and melon farms are located in Ibiae and Akansoko.
